LJMU – Tom Murphy – Honorary Fellowship
Tom Murphy receives his Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University on Thursday 17 July 2014 for his outstanding contribution to art and design. His citation was presented by Professor Roger Webster, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies.

Tom is a Liverpool artist who created more than thirty of Liverpool’s iconic sculptures. His work includes: Liverpool’s City Centre Hillsborough Memorial, Blitz Memorial, Noel Chavasse and the Liverpool VCs Memorial, Bill Shankly at LFC and Dixie Dean for Everton.
