A memorial of Frederick Owen Potts, a Victoria Cross holder and Trooper Arthur Andrews was sculpted by Tom in 2014 and unveiled in October 2015. Potts rescued Arthur Andrews during the Gallipoli campaign in 1915.

The Trooper Potts VC Trust campaigned for a statue for five years, and raised £150,000.

The campaign for the memorial was supported by Chris Tarrant and along with the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire and family members were present at the unveiling of the memorial in Forbury Gardens in Reading Town Centre.
